As an aside, the links are broken in your Take it further blog post here:
(http://takeitfurtherchallenge.blogspot.com/2008/01/january-admiration-for-jean-littlejohns.html). I found you by way of google. You might want to fix them so people can find you more easily ;-)juanita simhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04728867576527800494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129877877616491438.post-28338596607040699062008-01-22T10:25:00.000-08:002008-01-22T10:25:00.000-08:00Jacqui,If you look at the sampler that inspired me...Jacqui,
If you look at the sampler that inspired me to do the third piece, you can see how random the stitches are. I wasn't able to make them very random. I guess I feel I failed to do it correctly, but on second thought I do like the way the running stitch looks mimicking the shapes it goes around. So, I guess I will keep the Kantha stitch in some form in my "basket" of stitches.Caroline Comminshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02687004118737806714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129877877616491438.post-63882970110007502502008-01-22T08:08:00.000-08:002008-01-22T08:08:00.000-08:00Wow, most people seem to be struggling with 1 piec...Wow, most people seem to be struggling with 1 piece, let alone 4, I am impressed, seriously. I love this one. Why wont you use the Kantha stitch again? You seemed to have coped very well with it.Jacquihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06016343780777256307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129877877616491438.post-22145730757921478842008-01-21T10:38:00.000-08:002008-01-21T10:38:00.000-08:00Thank you, Ladies!I'm amazed how these pieces evol...Thank you, Ladies!
I'm amazed how these pieces evolved from Sharon's Challenge. I probably would never had made anything like this, otherwise. I'm now working out how to do the fourth piece, but I'm anxious to see what the February Challenge will be.Caroline Comminshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02687004118737806714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129877877616491438.post-35444024842639678732008-01-21T02:42:00.000-08:002008-01-21T02:42:00.000-08:00A beautiful piece!A beautiful piece!FARBTUPFERhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01324595097898202583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129877877616491438.post-69115225820286592782008-01-21T01:28:00.000-08:002008-01-21T01:28:00.000-08:00This is a nice series of samples.
